Spinervention she says..

So, in my past 2 weeks of fiber acquisisons I have managed to aquire over 5 pounds of fiber goodness. Llame and bamboo mixed, alpaca in lovely black, and a batt and 6 ozs of Spunky Ecclectic yum. So my good partner in Crime TnTKnits decided that we should have a spinervention to relieve ourselves of such fibery burdens. Also on the horizon is the fact that I am going to enabler yet another crafty friend in spinning. I think I will teach her to spin for a specific project insted of willy-nilly business like I do where I spin just because. I usually let the fiber do the talking.
Yesterday I got to go to the Isle of Wight County Fair where I was alerted by my legions of feloow crafters that there was fiber for sale. This is where I picked up my 1.8 pounds of raw black alpaca. Delicious it is and a thing of beauty, a whole bag of alpaca. Makes you want to get into the bag and roll around. Next weekend...State Fair. Hopefully more fiber to be had there.
